Anna – 1st Birthday + Cake Smash
I've know this sweet girls parents for what seems like the better part of 15 years. Then along came this perfect little Anna. She is the most laid back, perfect, angel baby, dream child that I have ever met. She eats food by the handful (thats my girl!). Smiles non-stop. Never gets upset. Isn't phased by anything. She's just an all around perfect little lady! When Anna's mom and I started talking last Winter about her 1st birthday - I was so excited. It's fantastic when parents have amazing ideas that we can completely bring to life. And I'm honored to be able to capture and bring those visions to life! We had so much fun dreaming this session up! Anna's little ladybug first birthday was nothing short of perfect! We started off with some awesome family photos around the Farm, added a cake smash and finished it off with the cutest bubble bath I've ever seen! It was such a great time! Happy 1st Birthday Anna! You are so sweet and I just adore you!! I hope you guys love these photos as much as I do!!!
That red gingham dress! It mean really!! Could it have been any more perfect for her photos?!? And the clover flowers mixed with the random field of purple flowers growing (in our hay field) were the perfect backdrop for her photos. And she was quite the little ham. I mean the smiles never stopped! Seriously, they were non-stop!! So cute!!
And then it was time for CAKE! This incredibly adorable ladybug themed smash cake came from our favorite bakery! And as per usual, the amazing team at Sunflour Bakeshop did not disappoint. I think we were washing icing off of our hands for days! Not only was it adorable, but the most tasty treat! They never cease to amaze me!!
Being a Farm girl (like me), we figured the perfect way to end Anna's session was with a bubble bath outside. But not just any bubble bath, one in a horse trough, filled with bubbles and rubber duckies! I've literally never seen such a smily, happy little one! She had a total blast in the tub! So happy her Mom and I have the same mindset!
