Meet Lauren + Sean. These two had the most interesting day for a wedding in Cape May EVER. Not only was it a gorgeous, sun filled day for their wedding, but it was definitely one they’ll never forget. About 10 minutes after we arrived to start shooting their day, the fire alarm went off. Not just a fire alarm as a “warning” – but a fire alarm like GET THE HECK OUT. I grabbed Lauren’s hand, my camera and dragged her as quickly as I could down the stairs of the Hotel Alcott and out of the building. As we’re running, her bridesmaids were making sure that Sean, the very handsome groom, was nowhere in sight. Thankfully, there was NO FIRE. An overabundance of steam in a shower bathroom, 4 fire trucks, 2 police cars and 1 ambulance later – the building was cleared. And we continued with the getting ready.
The rest of their day was flawless and magical. They were married at the incredibly gorgeous church – Our Lady Star of the Sea in front of their family and friends. We strolled the streets after taking photos of them and their bridal party! There is so much love between these two – it’s so incredibly evident. Their reception was held at the Hotel Alcott – one of my favorite venues! The room was stunning and everyone danced the night away!! Any wedding ending with the Mr. Softee truck is a win in my book! Lauren and Sean – thanks so incredibly much for allowing us to document your day! I loved every single minute of spending the day with you both! Congratulations again and I hope you enjoy this preview!!!
This picture of Lauren is so very “LAUREN”. It’s so natural of her. And the invitations were designed by Lauren. Aren’t they gorgeous!!
