Life As I Know It – Family Pumpkin Picking

Pumpkin Picking. It’s one of the oldest Halloween traditions there is. And I can honestly say that I love it. I love climbing on that hay cart, sitting in the hay that I am highly allergic to and bouncing up and down in my seat as the tractor drives through the fields to the perfect pumpkin patch. So on Chas’ day off, we planned to take Cooper on his first hayride to get his first pumpkin. We took my sisters Emily and Maddie with us and the kids Emily nannies – Nora and Owen. We had so much fun out in the pumpkin patch. They watched as I propped Cooper up against 2 pumpkins, since he doesn’t sit up on his own yet at 4 1/2 months, and laughed as he looked in every direction but my camera. And when some gnats landed on Cooper’s head (and Chas freaked out) we all just laughed. I love a good pumpkin hayride. Hope you enjoy the pics!!

Chas, Owen and Emily enjoying the hay cart!!

Emily LIVES to torture Owen. I LOVE these!!

Nora, Cooper, Emily and Owen all out in the pumpkin patch!!

Look how cute my husband and my son are! They are just so cute! Don’t you love Cooper’s skeleton outfit?!?

Look, I even made it into some photos!!

Doesn’t he look so cute sitting in the field!!

Then we got back on the hay cart. I look ridiculous in the first picture because Cooper just threw up. And naturally it only landed on me. Not on anyone else, especially not Chas. Then he spit up some more. And then he just looked like a faucet. It just kept running out of his mouth. I think it had to do with how bouncy the hayride was. And we TRIED to get a nice family picture in the last one. But apparently, Cooper thinks that his hands BELONG in his mouth!!

I LOVE a husband who will hold the baby, a burp rag, a pumpkin in a plastic bag, but most importantly, my shootsac. He’s just the greatest ever! And he looks so darn cute too! What a cute Dad!!

More propping up on pumpkins!! He looked so cute all smushed in around those hundred of pumpkins already picked!!

I wonder what he’s thinking of…..doesn’t matter. I LOVE this one of Cooper!!

Love how I got the drool, PERFECTLY falling out of his mouth!! So stinkin’ cute!

Hope you loved our little adventure to the farm for some pumpkin picking! Thanks for stopping by!!
