I’ve known these sweet little children’s Mom for about 10 years now. We went to college together and spent lots of time together on the college’s events programming board. She’s a love. So when she emailed me and asked me to photograph her sweet little Gracie – who just turned 6 months old – and her little boy Jackson – who is 18 months old – I was just thrilled. Seriously – I couldn’t wait to photograph these sweet little ones! I love seeing their photos on facebook – but it was even better getting to squish and hold these little ones. Mom had lots of fun ideas to document Grace turning 6 months old! I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! You have a beautiful and oh so sweet family! Oh my goodness – this is the sweetest shot ever of Gracie! Look at those “love handles” as her mom calls them! LOVE THIS!

I love that Gracie’s mom had this gorgeous wrought-iron wall decor with candles behind her dining room table! The candles weren’t even lit yet the sun caught them so perfectly! Gosh she’s the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen!

Mom saw this on Pintrest and I thought it was the sweetest idea ever! Look how cute big brother Jackson looks attempting to pull his sister!!

Engaged | Katie and Jim – Rutgers Gardens Engagement Photographer

Katie and Jim are getting married this Fall and I just can’t wait to document their wedding. When Katie told me she wanted to have their engagement photos at Rutgers Gardens – I was thrilled. Well I was thrilled after I looked into it – because I’ve never heard of it before. But HOLY COW. As soon as I arrived I was in heaven! Gardens as far as the eye can see. We had completely perfect weather – not too hot and the light was stunning! And talk about gorgeous gardens – blooming at all different seasons but right now it was filled with gorgeous flowers and trees (and some bumblebees). These two are so relaxed and laid back – their wedding is going to be a blast. They’re so much in love and so much fun to be around. I can’t wait to celebrate with you both in September! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Married | Brienna & Luke – Arts Ballroom Wedding Photographer

Ever since I met this amazing couple for coffee at a Starbucks – I knew they were perfect. So incredibly in love and genuinely fun to be around. From that very first conversation to their awesome engagement session in Rittenhouse Square at the end of last year – I knew I couldn’t wait to be a part of their big day. From the perfectly picked peonies (my favorite flower of course) to the simple elegance of Brienna’s dress. The day was perfect. On a very sunny, 95 degree day, Brienna and Luke were married in front of their family and friends at the Arts Ballroom in Philadelphia. Every last detail was perfect – down the the cake topper that summed them up perfectly (see below). I have to thank the amazing girls at Kyle Michelle Weddings for planning everything so perfectly with Brienna and Luke – you guys are fabulous! I wish you both more happiness that you can have in a lifetime! Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Paris and Italy! I loved photographing you day – and I hope you love the photos as much as I do!

Events | Flora Lea Farm Horse Trials – South Jersey Horse Photographer

Last weekend – my sister competed in an equestrian eventing show at Flora Lea Farm in Medford. It was a little bit of an overcast day – but it actually made for great eventing photos. She is an extremely talented rider – both in dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. She’s just fabulous – by she’s my sister, so of course I’m biased! What an awesome day we had. I find it difficult to watch dressage – even after all these years of watching her ride – it’s hard for me to tell when she’s doing well. (Which is usually all the time!) However – when she jumps and rides cross country – I’m over the moon. I LOVE watching her ride! Her horse Sham – short for Irish Houligan – is just the best! I hope you enjoy some of the shots from the day!!

Meet the Bryson Family. One of the sweetest and most friendly families I’ve ever met! One of those families you know you’ll love the instant that you meet them! Mom and I are in the same playgroup in our town – and I can honestly say that she’s one of the nicest, most down the Earth people I’ve ever met! Just a truly wholesome and good valued family! So a few weeks ago they asked me to take some family portraits for them! I instantly was elated because of just how much I love her boys! We met at Smithville Historic Park in Mount Holly to really just enjoy the boys playing in the sunshine and enjoying each other. I just love how their photos turned out – candid, natural and fun! I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I do! Enjoy!

Life As I Know It | Cooper Is Two!

I can’t believe that my little Cooper is two years old. It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant – having back spasms, not sleeping, eating everything in sight (especially dark chocolate, garlic hummus, McDonalds hamburgers and sour dough rolls) begging for the day the little monster would arrive! Then before after hours and hours of back labor, checking into a hospital that had been open for less than 24 hours and an emergency c-section – he was here! All 8 pound 13 ounces of him. It’s so increibly hard to believe that my funny, sweet, caring, lovable little boy is TWO YEARS OLD! I never ever thought I’d have a little boy I’d be chasing around the house. Nor could I imagine I’d have a boy who yells BUUGGSS at every little thing that crawls by. Or that I’d be scraping dirt out from under his nails. Or that my little boy would name all his body parts while he gets dressed – every, single, time. But I wouldn’t trade any of that for the world. He’s the love of my life – he’s the reason for waking up every single day!

Many of you will remember Valentina from her newborn session a few months ago. She’s part of a family that is very near and dear to my heart! We’ll she’s growing – and rapidly! She’s already 3 months. It’s so hard for me to believe. This little girl is like a china doll – seriously, I think you could walk down the baby doll aisle at Toys R’ Us and see that she’s got skin and hair just like a “fake” baby. She’s perfect. Pristine skin. Gorgeous hair. She’s an Italian Princess for sure. I loved cuddling this little girl more than anything – she’s so great to be around! What a personality already! Thanks so much for letting me document this little one as she grows! Enjoy the photos!

Engaged | Tanya and Lawyer – Philadelphia Art Museum Photographer

Meet Tanya and Lawyer. They’re one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Last weekend we shot their engagement photos at the Philadelphia Art Museum. It’s a great time of year to be shooting there – the gorgeous Cherry Blossom trees are almost all completely blooming. It’s one of the best times of year to shoot at the museum. We had so much fun walking around the museum looking for great light and fun places to shoot. (We definitely worked off a zillion calories haha!) I’m so excited to shoot their wedding in August – it’s bound to be a truly gorgeous day – full of amazing memories! I had a blast shooting your engagement session Tanya and Lawyer – I hope you love the pictures as much as I do!

Meet Lexi – she’s such a sweet little angel! I was lucky enough to photograph her brother Rusty 2 years ago – can it really be that long?!? Holy cow – time is completely flying. This little girl came 5 weeks early – a early surprise for everyone. But boy was it a great one – she’s just gorgeous. A good sleeper, happy and sweet as can be. She did fight us a little bit – she refused to sleep – but we still managed to get a ton of great shots. Congratulations to her family – you guys are truly blessed!! Can’t wait to watch her grow up with Rusty!
